I was licensed in real estate in 2016, went back to the corporate world for a few years, and then made the decision to go all-in on real estate in 2023.
Before that, I spent 33 years with State Street and Citizens, much of that time as a Vice President leading strategy and complex global projects. My job was to take complicated, expensive, deadline-driven initiatives with a lot of moving parts and get them across the finish line without letting anything fall through the cracks.
As it turns out, that experience translates pretty well to real estate.
Selling a home is rarely just about putting a sign in the yard and finding a buyer. There are timelines, negotiations, inspections, attorneys, financing, logistics, emotions, and dozens of details that all have to come together at exactly the right time. My job is to anticipate those details, keep everything moving, and make the process feel far less overwhelming for my clients.
But there is another part of this work that matters just as much to me.
I live on Buzzards Bay, and I have made this move myself. I left the four-bedroom home where I had lived for 21 years, with a lot and a half, gardens, beach rights, and decades of memories, and moved into a two-bedroom home on the water.
So when I sit at your kitchen table and we talk about selling the home where you raised your family, I am not guessing at what that feels like.
Because it is almost never the square footage you grieve.
It is the holiday mornings. The marks on the doorframe. The garden you planted. The rooms your children grew up in. The life that happened there.
And that is why I work the way I do.
I call it Lifestyle-First Living. Instead of beginning with, “What house should you buy next?” we begin with a much more important question:
What do you want your life to look like next?
Once we know that, we can figure out what kind of home supports it.
I don’t simply sell houses.
I help people find the life they want next.
